    Current Operations

We serve clients from around the world, although the majority of our clients are based in North America.

Each of our services help online business owners to promote their business on the world wide web.

We are involved in the creation of content and distribution of that same content to third-party websites world-wide, in an effort to promote our client's websites and online businesses.

Although we do not create sales copy for our clients, our clients do use the (informational and how-to) materials that we create for the express purposes of promoting their online business.

    Our Future Operations

We have several corporate clients who have made a commitment to stay with us for at least twelve months into the future.

We have dozens of other clients who have been with us for several years, going back to 2001.

    Our future looks bright.

Over the past five months, we have literally increased our business four-fold, and we continue to expand our staff to keep up with our growing demands.

    Our Office

Our office hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday.

We are located in Stillwater, Oklahoma at 226 North Main. We are exactly one block south of Hastings Books and Music, in a blue building that was converted from a home into an office.

Our building has two private offices and a large area that houses more desks and computer terminals. We also have an option of one more office as we need the room.

    Employment Benefits and Requirements

We are good to work for, but the work we do is not for everyone. Deadlines are important, so please bear that in mind when you apply for a position with us.

Despite the ever-pending deadlines, we try to provide a low-stress work environment for our staff.
  • You must attend work in our Stillwater, Oklahoma offices. (We do not employ work-at-home staff.)

  • For Full-Time Staff, we offer flexible hours. Our actual office hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm. That is a 45-hour week for our managers. We require that our Full-Time Staff give us 37-40 hours somewhere within this 45-hour work week. (Exceptions to the 40-hour week can be made for family activities and duties, so long as the extra absent hours are occasional and not too frequent.)

  • We offer a casual dress environment. All of our customers deal with us through online and telephone communications. We have never had a customer come to our offices.

  • We offer five paid-holidays for Full-Time Staff: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

  • We do employee reviews at the completion of the first three months of employment and at the end of six months. Going forward, we do employment reviews at six-month intervals.

  • After the first six months of employment, all Full-Time Staff members are entitled to two weeks paid vacation per calendar year.

  • We offer a potential for advancement for the right people.

  • We do not offer Health Insurance at this time.

  • Our General Staffing Outlook

At any one time, we employ a number of people to fill very specific job requirements:

  • We have staff who specifically take care of content distribution, using our proprietary software.
  • We also have writers and editors on staff.
  • We occasionally employ local PHP/Mysql programmers on a part-time basis.
  • We also occasionally utilize Website Designers and SEO writers to fill certain needs of our clients. These positions are only hired on a part-time basis.

  • Our Current Hiring Needs

We are currently running several ads for employment, and those ads will continue to run until we cancel them.

We are currently interviewing for the positions of Writers and Editors. Applicants must provide us with Writing Samples and a Resume. Editors must also complete a four-paragraph "Editor's Test".

If you decide to apply for any of these positions, please call Bill Platt for an interview. He can be reached at: (405) 780-7745.

The jobs we are currently interviewing for are:
  • Writers - We currently have the need for Full-Time and/or Part-Time Writers. For Part-Time Writers, we do require a minimum commitment of 20-hours per week.

Writing Flexibility is a must. Writers must not be afraid to tackle any topic. We cover a wide-range of content requirements for a wide-variety of clients. When we have topics that are more in sync with your interests, we will be happy to assign that work to you. But, the truth is that you will seldom be assigned writing jobs consistent with your own interests. (Jokingly of course, but that is why we call it "work".)

Because we must write outside of our specialized areas of interest, Internet Research is a must. In many cases, we can direct you to where to find the best information to help you complete your task, but you must be able to bring a basic Internet search and navigation knowledge to the job.

In most cases, we will give you a two-sentence outline for an article topic. You will need to have the ability to work on your own from that base outline. You will have the option of consulting with our managers about your assigned topics, and our managers will advise as they are able to do so on the topic. (While the work requires you to be able to "work on your own", we do not employ work-at-home staff.)

In some cases, we will need you to join us in a consultation phone call with our clients. These consultation phone calls are for the purpose of learning more about our client's business, so that we can better develop topics for the writing work we do for them. During a consultation phone call, good note-taking will be essential to your work.

Although we do have editors on staff, it is important for you as a writer to have a basic ability to use good grammar and spelling in your work. (Raises for Writers are determined based on: the quality of the writer's story-telling ability, the time spent on task, and how little or how much editing will have to be done to finalize the work for delivery to the client.)

  • Editors - We currently have the need for Full-Time and/or Part-Time Editors. For Part-Time Editors, we do require a minimum commitment of 20-hours per week.

An editor must have good skills in grammar and spelling.

An editor must bring a flexibility to the job. Our writers create content on dozens of topics. Our business works with several writers, who each bring their own individual writing styles to the table. An editor must stay aware and learn to work with the various voices of our writers.

Editors must be able to meet tight deadlines. Although we usually have a comfortable completion window, we sometimes find ourselves against a tighter deadline. Any person who works with us as an editor must be able to ramp up to meet those close deadlines, if and when they occur. (Overtime Pay is sometimes available during windows of tight deadlines.)

Editors must be capable of balancing a diverse editing workload.

Our editors are often the last line of defense between our writing staff and our clients. Our management team oversees the work of our editors, but the management will not always be able to review every piece of work. (Raises for Editors are determined based on: the quality and speed of the editor's work, and the ability of the editor to complete the work without constant management oversight.)

Editors may sometimes have free time available, so if you enjoy writing as much as editing, you will occasionally get the chance to strut your stuff.
